After last week moving in the worst rainy day of the year. Here are some pictures of the apartment. It's work in progress but I am already happy of the result. In front of the chimney you can see my two "new" bedside tables :-)

Monday is nice for once :-)

Monday normally we're not too excited because it's the first day of the week. Because we have to go to the office, because we are already planning things for the weekend. Shortly said, we would prefer that after monday comes friday. Well today we're just happy that it's monday because what all nice things we saw today.

2)  Superrock x LIFE/STYLE returns to Laszlo this Sunday, November, 28th from 9p-2a.  Please join Bryan R, Steady B and me for an awesome night of guitar musics, cult films, and well made cocktails.

3)  On Wednesday, December 8th from 9p-2a at Laszlo, we celebrate many Sagittarian birthdays - most notably our guest of honor, Seth R., who turns one of the round numbers.  30, perhaps?  In addition to the LIFE/STYLE crew (Raul & me), Eug from FACE and Greg Morantz (Fallout) will dj as well.

4)  On Thursday, December 9th, 6p-10p at Nightlife at the California Academy of Sciences.  This is their event in conjunction with Indie-Mart, and in addition to LIFE/STYLE dj-ing, bands AB and the Sea and Boy in the Bubble.  Raul & I are stoked to be asked to dj at this event.  Come party with us and... Brafa 2011 press conference

Yesterday I had a day off from work but thats doesn't mean I had nothing to do. First I had to make a nice breakfast to my B&B guest. And after that I had to run to Antwerp to assist at the press conference of the BRAFA edition 2011. The conference started with a breakfast and sad news. The president of honour Madame Zeberg died after a cancer. She was a great lady with a wonderful shop in Antwerp behind the Cathedral.

This year the BRAFA will expose some new exhibitors and also some masterpieces from the collection of the Mayer Van Den Bergh Museum in Antwerp.

After the conference we received a tour in this wonderful museum and a walking dinner with champagne.

I am sure the edition of 2011 will be even better than last year. But I will have to wait till the end of january before it starts.

Who said decorating was easy!!!

Today I was at the office. But since my B&B is open, it seems I have two jobs :-). I think even more than two jobs. Doesn't matter, I am enjoying it. I know why i fall a sleep at night. My first guest arrived saturday and stays till the 12th of november. My place is still a building site, but it's already much better than on the pictures. Will make some more this week. But here are some from Friday so you can see the real color I used.
