Selina from Classroom Magic and Kathie from The Diary of a Not So Wimpy Teacher came up with a SUPER idea to collect lots of writing prompts....you could get a different one for each day of the school year if you want!
Ok, as kindergarten teachers, we don't think alot about kinders writing in response to a writing prompt(not in the traditional sense anyways), but how cool of a thinking idea is this! Our little ones can still respond in pictures and/or writing....plus this will also be a FABULOUS oral language prompt! My head is already starting to fill up with all kinds of questions, comments, and discussions that I could have with my kinders in class!
