Dear friends,

I never expected EARLY! to last as long as it has, and it seems like it will last for years to come at this rate.  This is all due to you and your desire to have your own party.  So many people helped with this party and have dj'd at this party (many who have gone on to bigger & brighter dj careers or have just enjoyed getting to express themselves behind the decks at least once in this lifetime).  In two years time, that is A LOT of people to list.  Suffice it to say, I thank you all - from the patrons to the djs to the old friends to the new friends to my co-workers at the Beauty Bar.  Two people I would like to thank especially are Greg and Amedee. Whether they know it or not, their passion to do this party with me really keeps it going, and in many ways they are the real ones to thank for EARLY!, not me.

This week EARLY! celebrates its 2nd birthday on Friday.  This is a special occasion for all the reasons you may guess, but for me it will be a special treat because one of my favorite SF crews of all time reunites to dj for the first time in many years - FALLOUT.  Ken & Greg aka djs Seijiro & Rantz aka FALLOUT threw what was considered by many including myself one of THEE BEST PARTIES in all of SF.  It was fun, eclectic, inclusive, etc.  Re-experience the magic and welcome them back to the decks.

Of course, Amedee & I will dj and there will be some TREATS as well.  Come early for those since they are sure to run.  As always, the lovely Jason El D will be behind the bar serving delicious, well made drinks and refreshing beer.

Maison le dragon

I don't have to tell that Bruges is one of the nicest city's in Belgium. The whole town seems old and patinated. Well it's almost true. Off course some places are nicer than others. Maison le dragon is one of the nicer. If not the nicest. If you plan to stay in Bruges, go there you will never forget it.

New items to my collection

Tomorrow I am back to the office. So this evening I am looking back on some days of hard work. Our bed and breakfast is going very well. The cleaning lady left us for two months because she's building her house in Poland :-s, so that's a less good part. Meaning that my boyfriend and me have to clean the whole house.

It was a heavy week, but I am glad with did everything.

I even had time to do some shopping. I bought a wonderful cristal chandelier for in the guest bedroom. Isn't it charming, the best thing is that it comes from a big house not far from our house.

Holidays is equal to relax for once!!!

So for once I am on holiday at home. There is always something to do here. Today I prepared my apartment because somebody is renting it for a couple of days. And like I am a perfectionist, I went to double check everything. So now I can relax, everything is all right. So what better proof of that than pictures in our bed. This morning we used new bedlinen. So this evening we will sleep in wonderful toile de joy.

This week of course I did some shopping. Yes don't look like that! A week without looking for something gorgeous is a lost week.

I added two old Medici urns to our collection. They are on the marble chimney on one of the guest rooms. They remind of the two urns i saw on a chest on Room Seventeen a very nice blog I follow.
